AREA 47 - The most exciting outdoor leisure park in Austria

The AREA 47 is a large outdoor leisure park in the Öztal where you can do all sorts of water-based activities from rafting to canyoning. Get your adrenaline rush, whether you go  wakeboarding or on the high ropes course. Thrills guaranteed!

Ötztal Glacier Road

The Ötztaler Glacier Road is one of the highest streets in the Eastern Alps - and starts directly in Sölden. Breathtaking serpentines wind through the mighty mountain panorama. Here, cyclists can find the "highest point accessible by road bike" (2800 meters). A variety of alpine animals can be spotted in the Tyrolean mountains, for example alpine ibexes, marmots and chamois. Don't forget to bring your binoculars!

What if it rains?

The Ötztal is known for a particularly pleasant climate with many hours of sunshine. If it rains there are still many indoor attractions such as the Aqua Dome - a modern thermal spa with an extensive sauna world in midst the mountains. How about a day trip to the Tyrolean capital Innsbruck? The little alpine metropolis boasts many sights in front of a magnificent natural scenery. One of the highlights: The ski jumping hill at Bergisel!
